Installed at a private residence in Swiss Cottage, this bespoke handrail and balustrade features slim black metal vertical balusters and a beautifully curved continuous oak handrail on an oak staircase. The open plan setting makes the staircase a key visual element of the living space, and every detail has been crafted accordingly.
The open-stringer design gives the staircase a clean, architectural profile from all angles. The slim black metal balusters are precisely set, and the continuous curved oak handrail follows the line of the staircase without a single joint, bending smoothly from the ground floor to the upper landing. The warm tone of the oak sits well against the black metalwork and the light oak flooring throughout the open-plan space.
