Bespoke Victorian Cut-String Staircase with Decorative Cast Iron Spindles
This new Victorian staircase in Fulham is a faithful recreation of a classic period design, built entirely new for a private client. The cut-string and full-string construction features crisp white-painted risers and closed stringers, giving the staircase its characteristic clean, tiered profile. A traditional carpet runner adds warmth underfoot and completes the authentic Victorian look.
Ornate Black Cast Iron Balustrade with Fleur-de-Lis and Oval Motifs
The balustrade is the centrepiece of this project — bespoke cast iron spindles in a rich black finish, each featuring an intricate pattern of oval frames, fleur-de-lis detailing and decorative collars. A solid hardwood continuous handrail in a deep warm stain runs the full length of the staircase, perfectly complementing the ironwork beneath. We completed this beautiful piece of work for Wicklow Projects Ltd.
